Fast, efficient and reasonably priced

Sean and Steve did a fantastic repair job on my 25+ year old fence. They did everything that they stated they would when they came to my house for a quote. They really knows their stuff!

My fence was leaning badly towards my neighbour's yard. They removed two rotting posts and took out the old existing concrete. They placed new posts in the exact same holes, thus saving my existing fence boards and allowing for the same patina look. I was amazed how very little clean-up was needed after the work was done. The repair area of the fence looks like no one was ever there. Fast and efficient, plus reasonably priced!

The new posts, metal post caps and lattice repairs look wonderful and it is also very nice to have a sturdy gate that swings open much more easily and locks much more efficiently!
 
I'm so glad that you were able to use my existing fence panels and add new posts/wood/lattice only where necessary, as it helped both the environment (by saving trees and not buying unnecessary new lumber) and reduced the overall cost, both of which I am truly thankful. And the clean-up you did before leaving was fantastic! There is not a thing out of place.
 
My neighbour, (who’s property was accessed on the other side) was also very complimentary of your work and said he was impressed with the neat and sturdy appearance of the fence repair and the way you incorporated the new and old wood.  He also said to tell you that he also appreciated the extra care you seemed to take in not damaging anything on his side of the property.

We had an aging fence and the posts were on their last legs. They visited the property prior to the start date to meet with us and look over the existing fence and took the time to explain the process to us, They were very respectful of our property and that of our neighbour. Very pleased by the work done

We are very pleased with the work done by Riley Fence Repair (formerly Mr. Good Fence Repair). None of the three contractors that we had spoken with earlier bothered to even give us a quote. Steve contacted us within hours of receiving our request for a quote. We were impressed right away because he worked his quote with our budget and came up with alternatives where we could save money. He did not try to upsell us. Work was completed within the timeframe quoted and within budget.

By any measure, 5 stars!

We first had Mr. Good Fence Repair (Steve and Sean) replace one broken fence post about a year ago, in May 2017 and were very pleased with the quality work that they did for a fair price. Especially notable was the care they took to minimize damage to shrubbery near the damaged post and how well they cleaned up after themselves. The weather and age took its toll, and this year we thought we needed 6 new posts, and some of the lattice and top 2x4 caps replaced.

Steve was our first call. He responded very quickly and quoted us a good price, also including replacing another weak post that we hadn’t noticed yet. It took Steve and crew about 12 hours over two days and we had a perfectly good fence, new posts, some other parts, all the old posts and other replaced material removed. And the entire work was completed with minimum damage to our plants. Again, the price charged was very fair. Steve noted that now our fence has more posts that are his replacements than originals left in it. We expect that over the next year or two we will need further replacements. And it will definitely be Mr. Good Fence Repair that we call as that becomes necessary. By any measure, 5 stars! *****
